The Blood of Dawnwalker is set in a dark fantasy version of 14th-century Europe. This page keeps to the official premise and avoids invented faction names, quest lists or ending conditions.

The World

Europe is torn by bloody conflict, and the Black Death is closing on the survivors. In that collapse, vampires rise from weakness to reclaim freedom and power denied to them for centuries. Other creatures of the night follow, legends become real, and history is rewritten.

Coen the Dawnwalker

Coen is a young man turned into a Dawnwalker: human by day, vampire by night. He exists between the world of daylight and the realm of night, never fully belonging to either side.

Three choices & consequences

  • Save your family — your family's time is running out, and every quest moves time forward.
  • Take revenge — official material frames vengeance against your sire as a possible drive.
  • Explore old secrets — the valley hides ancient secrets, ruins and traces of older civilizations.
  • Accept the cost — every action and inaction shapes the world; you will not have time to help everyone.

Two loops

The game has two distinct gameplay loops. By day, Coen fights as a human with a sword and powerful magic. By night, he acts as a vampire who can defy gravity and become a ferocious force of nature. Each loop has advantages and drawbacks.

Vale Sangora & the open world

The official open world is hand-crafted around the valley of Vale Sangora: lush forests, vast plains, treacherous swamps, steep mountain peaks, medieval settlements, abandoned ruins and remains of ancient civilizations.
